Creative Therapy Associates was created in 2008 and has been providing therapy services to our community for over 17 years. Our team offers a client-centered approach to assess the needs of the individual and family and work in a creative way to guide and support each individual. Our therapists specialize in a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, communication issues and more. Whether you are navigating life transitions, seeking personal growth or coping with challenging circumstances, we are here to support you every step of the way. Our Team

Christine Harris

MSW, LCSW

Christine offers a range of therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, family therapy and marital therapy utilizing the Gottman Method. With over 30 years of experience, she specializes in pre-marital and couples counseling, aiming to enhance communication, rebuild positive attachments, and provide support during life-changing events and transitions.

Lauren Onufrak

MS, LMHC

Lauren works with children, teens, adults and families, addressing issues such as behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, divorce issues, and emotional dysregulation. She has experience working with children who have emotional, behavioral and neuro-developmental disorders. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Safe and Sound, trauma, integrative medicine, mindfulness therapy and play therapy.

Ashley Allison

MS, RMHI

Ashley is a licensed mental health counselor-intern skilled in therapeutic crisis intervention, child and adolescent counseling, working with adults in various stages of life, trauma, grief counseling and suicide prevention. She has a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling through Bowie State University and has worked in the field of counseling for more than 6 years. She is pleased to have joined CTA in 2024.

Karen La Rosa

Office Manager

Karen is the backbone of our office, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure the team stays on track. Her organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that the office is always efficient and well-managed.

Sally Duvall

Office Administrator

Sally is the first point of contact for anyone who calls or walks into the office. Friendly and welcoming, she ensures that every visitor feels at home and handles the day-to-day administrative tasks with a smile.

Joan Tuzzo

Office Assistant

Joan brings a touch of creativity to the office, transforming our space for every holiday and season. From festive decorations to a cozy atmosphere, she keeps the office vibrant and cheerful year-round.
